The Penfield School Transportation Association is a New York State recognized collective bargaining unit under the Public Employee Fair Employment Act. PSTA (Penfield School Transportation Association) represents the school bus drivers and school bus attendants of the Penfield Central School District. PSTA is currently the only unaffiliated pupil transportation organization currently operating in Monroe County.

Penfield School Transportation was originally chartered in 1978 as "Penfield School Bus Drivers' Association by a vote of the school bus drivers drving for the Penfield Central School District.
